What We Do Better....

  • Experience, Quality, and Accuracy - We have performed thousands of Home Energy Scores in Portland and the surrounding Metro Area since 2017. Our team are all BPI Certified Building Experts. Most Energy Score providers in Oregon do not have this level of training and expertise.  
  • Our friendly and knowledgeable team will explain the details of the Home Energy Score and help you understand any potential low-cost improvements to increasing the energy score. We will also provide  simple energy saving tips to improve your next home!
  • We provide free infrared insulation check to help boost your score by up to 20%. 
  • We do not do provide energy upgrades, so we can give unbiased scores. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​See our free guide on how to increase your home energy score for less than $50. 
  • Calculations for vaulted ceilings, converted attic and multiple roofs can take over an hour with a single mistake dropping your score by 20%. Our custom built Department of Energy approved software ensures we get it right every time.  
  • We offer an itemized cost break down of each suggested upgrade (not included in the City of Portland Home Energy Scores) so you have negotiating power in marketing and transactions. The least expensive upgrades (sealing ducting or adding insulation) can save twice as much energy as the most expensive upgrades (replacing a heater or windows). 
  • We offer a list of all current energy rebates and incentives to help you save money​ on energy upgrades.​
